Débora Jeronymo was born in 1994 in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil. However, she grew up on the coast of São Paulo state, in the city of Santos.
Her passion for books and writing awakened in childhood. At the age of nine, she wrote her first short story, but only at fifteen did she make her first publication in a fantasy literary anthology, with encouragement from her family and special people at her school at the time (a beloved librarian and her Portuguese teacher).
Since then, she has published more short stories about mystery and fantasy, inspired especially by the writer Agatha Christie.
Finally, in 2024, she fulfilled her great dream of publishing her own book and inspiring more people to read and write stories that have a positive impact on people's lives.

She is a writer, lawyer, and environmental researcher.
She has contributed to the anthologies Tratado Secreto De Magia, Utopia, Histórias Envenenadas, Horas Sombrias, Jogos Criminais - Vol. II, and King Edgar Hotel - Vol. I, published by Andross Editora, and Espectra, published by Editora Literata.
Furthermore, in March 2024, she released her first solo work, A cidade do mar (The city of the sea), published by Editora Ases da Literatura, available in Brazil and in more than nine other countries, including the United States, Canada, Germany, and Spain, in Portuguese.

In an intriguing story set in the city of Santos, the protagonist Hetch Vollrat becomes involved in a great mystery related to her mother's past. On her journey, she confronts her fears, forges connections with unexpected people, demonstrates her sensitivity to the issue of environmental sustainability, and highlights the need for empathy and women's empowerment.
